Instructions
You need to remember to soak the black eyed peas overnight or approximately 10 to 12 hours before preparing them. Wash them after this soaking time and place them into a pot with water for boiling. They will take approximately 30 minutes in order to become soft. 1: In the meantime, you can take the tomatoes, wash them thoroughly and then cut them into small pieces. Put them aside. 2: Take the cumin seeds and put them into a pan. Roast them without any fat until they are dark brown. 3 : Once the black eyed peas are soft, you pour out the water and place them in a bowl. Add the tomato pieces, the cumin and both salts. Squeeze out the juice of the lemon and mix it all well without mashing the beans. 4 : Now let this mixture cool down and decorate it, before serving, with some pieces of fresh paneer and green coriander leaves! 5: Enjoy!
