Ingredients
500 g Radish
1 tbsp Mustard Oil
1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Turmeric
Salt according to taste
How to make Mooli ki Sabzi
Wash the radish and peel it. Cut off the tip from both sides and cut it in slices. Not much of preparations, let’s start the work at the stove!
Heat up the oil in a pan and add the fenugreek seeds and the mustard seeds into it. Stir, add turmeric, stir again and let the spices get roasted. When the fenugreek has brownish colour, you can add the radish into the pan. Sprinkle salt on top of the radish and mix. Place the lid onto the pot and let it cook on medium heat. Stir from time to time.
After about five minutes, take the lid off and let it cook on for another ten minutes while stirring from time to time. When the radish is a little bit pinkish and soft, it is done and you can take it off the stove – your radish is ready to be served!
