How to make Lauki ki Sabzi
Wash the bottle gourd thoroughly, cut off a small piece from both sides and peel it. Cut it then into medium-sized pieces.
Heat up the oil in a deep pan and when it is hot, add cumin, garam masala and coriander while you are stirring. Stir for some seconds so that the spices get roasted before you add the bottle gourd pieces. Sprinkle some salt over it, mix it once more and then place a lid on the pan.
You don’t need to add water to the vegetable, as it will leave water itself while you are cooking it on medium heat. Stir from time to time.
After about fifteen minutes you can check: the vegetable should be soft by now. Switch it off and you are done! Easy!
You can serve it with some fresh lemon juice – whoever wants to add a special note to it can sprinkle it over the dish!
