Ingredients
500 g Tinda
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt according to taste
How to prepare Tinda
The preparation of this dish is quite simple, which is why it is a great dish to cook when you have to take care of remaining meal items as well!
Wash the baby pumpkins well and cut each of them into six pieces. Heat up the oil in a deep non-stick pan and add cumin, garam masala, coriander powder and finally the turmeric powder. Stir and let the spices roast so that they can unfold their aroma. When they have changed their colour to a darker shade, you can add the tinda pieces into the pan. Sprinkle some salt on top and stir well. Now place a lid on the pan and let it get cooked at medium heat. Stir from time to time.
After ten minutes, you can take the lid off. You will see that there is water at the bottom of your pan. For letting this water evaporate, you need to cook the tinda for the next 10 minutes without a lid. Stir again from time to time.
Done – your Tinda dish is ready. Enjoy!
