Aate ka Halwa - Easy and quick Wheat Flour Halwa
A dish that needs only the most basic ingredients, takes hardly time to prepare and always tastes great - Aate ka Halwa!
How to make Aate ka Halwa
Heat up the ghee in a wok or a non-stick pan. Once it is hot, turn down the heat to a medium level and add the flour. Stir and mix the flour nicely with the ghee. Although it is a quick and easy dish, it needs your attention the whole time because you need to keep on stirring to keep the flour from burning. While stirring for the next 10 minutes, you notice that your flour turns darker to a golden brown.
When it has reached this colour, you add the sugar and the water into the pan. Stir and mix it all together. You can now also add the raisins and cashew nuts.
Stir another two minutes until everything is nicely mixed. Take your halwa out of your pan and serve it warm! It tastes especially great when you eat it with your fingers instead of using a spoon!
Enjoy
