Ingredients
300 g Bell Pepper
200 g Carrots
300 gCabbage
200 gCauliflower
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
a pinch Asafetida
Salt according to taste
How to prepare this dish especially for summer
Wash all vegetables and cut all of them in very small pieces. Even the cauliflower pieces should be tiny. Mix all of them together in a bowl.
Heat up the oil in a non-stick pan that is big enough to fit all your vegetables. Add cumin, mustard, coriander, garam masala and finally the asafetida into the pan and stir. Once the spices slightly change their colour and you have that wonderful smell of roasted spices in your kitchen, you can add the vegetables into the pan. Add salt on top and mix them well with the spices.
For the next ten minutes you can let them get cooked on medium heat while stirring from time to time. Ten minutes is only an approximate time, as it depends on how you like to eat your vegetable. We like it a bit raw, so that we have something to chew on. If you like it even more raw, you can take it off before and if you like your vegetables fully cooked, just keep them in the pan for some longer time.
Serve while warm or eat it cold like a salad – in any way, enjoy!
