How long does it take to prepare Coffee-Chocolate Ice Cream?
Total Time:
Ingredients
500 ml Milk
200 ml Water
100 ml Cream
200 g Sugar
150 g Cocoa Powder
100 g Milk Powder
2 tbsp Instant Coffee Powder
How to prepare Coffee Chocolate Ice Cream
Heat up the water in a pot. When it starts boiling, add the coffee and the cocoa powder. Mix it all well and let the powder dissolve in the water. once this has happened, put the pot aside and let the mixture cool down.
Now you take the milk and mix milk powder, sugar and cream into it. Mix it well so that the milk powder and the sugar dissolves.
When the mixture of coffee and chocolate is cold, mix the milk mix into it as well. Put this all into a blender and blend it well. Once the ingredients have fully mixed, put the pot or bowl into the fridge.
It has to cool down about half an hour before you put it into your ice cream machine. Use that machine according to your manual – depending on its strength it takes half an hour to one hour for the blend to become real, delicious ice cream.
When the machine is done with stirring and the ice cream has reached the slightly firm consistency it should, put it in the freezer for another 20 to 30 minutes for it to get nicely firm, so that you can portion it with the ice spoon. In the picture above you can see that we never ever get to complete this step – because we are always already waiting eagerly for our ice cream and eat it all up before! :)
