Ingredients
700 g green, raw Bananas
4-5 Tomatoes
1 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Turmeric
2 tsp Coriander
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
500 ml Water
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt according to taste
How to make Kachhe Kele ki Sabzi?
This may be a fully new style of making bananas but you still need to peel them! After peeling, cut the bananas into thick round slices. You can also wash your tomatoes and put them, as they are, into a blender to make puree out of them.
Heat up the oil in a wok and once it is hot add the cumin. Stir it for a little bit until the cumin is nicely roasted and has developed its aroma. Add the banana pieces into the wok, add salt according to your taste and stir them. Leave them in the heat for about two minutes, stirring from time to time. After that you add the tomato puree and again stir for about two minutes until your tomatoes are warm.
Now you can add turmeric, coriander and garam masala and mix the spices real nicely before finally adding the water. In this sauce, you now need to let the bananas cook and get soft. From time to time you stir and after about ten minutes the bananas should be done. If you like to have your dish a bit more saucy, you can use more water and even more tomatoes.
And in the end you can finally enjoy your Kachhe Kele ki Sabzi!
