How to prepare Ananas Raita
Peel the pineapple – a task which is faster said and done! There are several different methods to follow and whichever you choose, just make sure there is no peel left and that you have cut out the hard inner core of the fruit. Cut the remaining rings into small pieces. Put the yoghurt into a bowl and take a hand blender to blend it well. It should be slightly foamy and more liquid after blending it.
The rest of the recipe is very easy: put the pineapple into the yoghurt, add a bit of salt according to taste and stir. If you want to and maybe if your pineapple was very sour, you can add a bit of sugar as well.
That’s it – enjoy your Ananas Raita together with some bread, vegetables or another light dish!
